The Hands Off Texas! Movement is Growing
We started the Hands of Texas! Movement one year ago for a single event on September 12th and had no idea where this would lead us. Today, WE ARE STRONGER THAN EVER.
Earlier this month, nearly two thousand Texans braved 100-degree heat to "welcome" President Barack Obama to Texas and encourage him and the Democratic Party to keep their HANDS OFF TEXAS! And the message was delivered. LOUDLY.
Statewide press coverage of the President's trip to Texas was overshadowed by coverage of the rally, much to the dismay of the Obama propaganda machine. And even with the help of some left-leaning reporters who laughingly reported "only a few hundred people" gathered at the Capitol (we're still scratching our heads over that one since we counted nearly 2,000 and more than 800 people signed the petition that Monday alone), the Democrats and their mainstream media friends failed to stop us from making a resolute stand against Barack Obama and his failed Washington policies that threaten all Texans.

Whether you joined us at the rally, contributed to make it happen or signed the Hands Off Texas! Petition, you made a big impact. Most importantly, in addition to spoiling their news coverage and growing our petition by the thousands, we raised valuable funds to keep the Hands Off Texas! effort going and to help protect and strengthen the Republican majority in Texas. President Obama may think twice about coming back to Texas and stirring up the hornets' nest again. Thank you for standing loud and proud for Texas.
Of course, we know President Obama and the Democrats will continue their plans to target Texas, and now our real work begins...
