Support for the Hands Off Texas! Movement has been incredible. So incredible that we decided it’s about time to take it to the next level and bring all of you together in an online community that will help spread the message to fellow Texans.

We’ve read through all of your comments on the Hands Off Texas! Petition and you have some amazing things to say. And we think you should have a public forum to share your thoughts.

So here we go: We welcome all Republicans, Conservatives, Libertarians, Independents, recovering Democrats, remorseful Obama voters and ALL Texans to join us on this blog to discuss all things Texas and political for this upcoming election—and beyond.

We’re just getting started, so stay tuned daily to the all-new Hands Off Texas! Blog. In the meantime, feel free to comment below and get a conversation started about what you think about our effort to tell Obama and the Democrats to keep their HANDS OFF TEXAS!

In short, let’s win this election and have a lot of fun on this blog while we’re doing it. We hope this will be a good place for all of us to interact, get to know one another and have a good time.

Welcome to the new Hands Off Texas! Blog...

Thank you for all you are doing. I have family living in many different states across America. They all look to Texas to give them courage to continue the fight to win back our country. Keep up the good work!!

Obama and his progressive friends want Texas. We can't let that happen!

What is the word on the street about the Texas House Speaker race? I heard one story about it but no more. Are there challengers to Speaker Strauss? Who are they and what are their chances? Next year will be intersting with redistricting and all.

I attended the "Hands Off Texas" Rally on 8/9/10 and really enjoyed it. I was particularly impressed with Ted Cruz and wonder why he is not seeking office. He certainly has all the marks of a leader.

Once upon a time a long time ago I was a Democrat. I listened to the Union bosses and voted. I also saw a Democrat Governor who put those enormous fees on us for license and such. I also saw how people came to Texas to work, to start a business but.......... only after the Republicans took over. Remember when we had to have a hose put on our auto exhaust just to get it inspected. The Democrats would love for us to go back to those days. I hope I will be a part of stopping them..... Just don't mess with Texas Mr. White and your buddy Obama

I've never been a democrat, but I was Libertarian before I gradually shifted to Republican. Glad to be here!

I did not vote for that person and I do not, have not and will never call him my president. His agenda is to bring this country to its knees and always has been. I tried to tell people how evil he was, is and was told I was crazy. Obviously, I'm not. Time for Native Texans and transplants alike to take OUR state back and keep it this time. Secede Texas ~! 8th generation Native Texans like myself are sick and tired of being kicked around by big government we want our freedom back.
